Dying to Survive by Scott Hildreth

Warning this book is intended for Mature Readers 18+ and even then, just know that is GRAPHIC!

You’re abducted and placed into a room with three other women, all of which resemble you. Confused, scared, lonely, and in constant fear, you wait. The abductor, after a few days, opens the door and explains the following:

“Tomorrow morning, at eight am, one of you will forfeit your life to save the other three. If one person isn’t willing to die, everyone will die.”

What would you do?

“Dying to Survive” is a erotic psychological trip through the minds of seven people - parents, children, uncles, and nieces as this story unfolds. They range from abused, abducted, raped, murdered, and killed to enforce the law, to almost what we would perceive as normal.

Prepare for a trip that will leave you guessing, wondering, and contemplating how you live your life.

My Review
Okay, this Book....what can I say about this book. How about it was FREAKING AMAZING!!!! Author Scott Hildreth's writing grabs you and doesn't let go. I've read some of his other stuff and I was super excited when I found out he was writing this, so naturally as soon it became live on Amazon I one clicked it.

Ryan Capshaw, good Lord, what is it about this man, he is INSANE but he's not! Does that make sense? Of course it doesn't because you need to buy this book. Things started out one way and ended up a completely different way. Just as soon as I thought I had everything figured out and was all like (Okay so this is going to happen) BAM, things twisted and turned again. I've never in my life read a book like this. It was dark, and amazing. The author definitely keeps you on your toes. I couldn't put it down. I give it 5 AMAZING STARS! It was one of the best books I've read. The writing, the twists, the turns, the fact that it keeps you on edge the entire time. I can promise you this...NO ONE IS SAFE, and just when you think it's over, yeah right! That's what you think.

"Tomorrow morning, at precisely zero eight hundred hours, one of you is going to die!"

It doesn't have a Cliffhanger though which I was happy about. It did however have me wanting to throw my kindle a couple of times, yell at the characters especially Meghan, I wanted to high five her face at certain points of this book,  but what good book, Strike that, What GREAT book doesn't have you feeling like that. :) Go 1 Click  it and read it and then Thank Scott Hildreth for one of the darkest, most twisted, yet Super Amazing Works of Art he's written. And welcome to the Hot & Wicked world of Slauterotica! ;) The book does have a great point though, I mean think about the future of America and you see all the children. We shape them, we change them, we sculpt them. So you mess it up and something like this could be happening next door to you. (tingles

Great Job Scott Hildreth! I can't wait to read his other books!

Meghan assured him as she dropped her chair back onto all four legs.

Her Masters Courtesan by Lily White

I am a Master.

You must know this fact to understand my story.

I capture women.

I break them down.

And I rebuild them.

If they are lucky, they are sold into the professional hands of another Master. If they are less fortunate, they are buried beneath the ground, never to be thought of again.

I lust for the control, I demand absolute submission and my body yearns to warp the minds of those I train.

Power is the only thing I’ll ever need and I am addicted to the feeling of ultimate control.

I am wealthy, good-looking, educated and charming.

And I am - in no way - a good man.

I do not want love.
I do not want kindness.

She thought she could change me by giving me the two things I knew I never wanted.

She was wrong.

My Review
This book is so different from anything I've ever read. Was it dark? Yes. Was it Twisted? Yes. Was it effing crazy? Yes. Was it good? No, it was GREAT!

This book is NOT your average love story. To be honest, it's not a love story at ALL! The author does everything in her power to warn you about this at the very beginning of the book. I however, seen the ONE PAGE WARNING as intriguing. ;) I had to read it. I'm so glad I did. There are scenes in this book which some may find disturbing. This book was absolutely amazing, given the first few chapters  had my mouth completely open, wondering what the heck I was reading. I fell in love with both the characters. That is so weird saying that but I did. I really enjoyed this book. I think it was very well written.

I am a Master.                                                                                             *****************

I knew I never wanted.
She was wrong.

Rebecca, well what can I say about her? She's your average girl next door. She's beautiful, but no one see's it, not even her. She seems timid and shy at first but that quickly changes. She becomes kidnapped by Aiden.

Aiden is your average book boyfriend (at first glance), he's rich, successful, powerful and money hungry. He's Gorgeous and sexy and hot. But he's dark and twisted...very Dark and Twisted.

He is in an elite society and he's considered a Master/Trainer. This is not your typical society of men and women either. This is a society of men and women that wish to purchase Courtesans aka Slaves. They want the best of the best and who can train better than anyone? Well that would be Aiden Oliver. He's the best at what he does, and there put simply there are not many in the society that wish to do what he does. His client describes the type of Courtesan they are interested in and Aiden finds who he can to fit the description. Rebecca just so happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. She's his next mark. He kidnaps her. Now Aiden, during Training and well at all other times is a Master, nothing else.  Not a lover, not a friend, not a nice guy at all. He trains. He breaks down women physically, mentally and emotionally in order to make them the perfect slave. By the time he's done with them, they believe whatever he wants makes them happy. To make their Master happy is making them happy. That makes them feel wanted. Feel like they have a place in this world. He takes everything they've ever known and strips it away, and may I add he enjoys doing this. Then once he's molded the perfect Courtesan he ships them away to the client who purchased them.

"Your body is a tool. It is flesh and bone created for my touch and for the touch of those I allow around you. It is built for my pleasure and designed to give ME what I want despite your opinions on the matter. I'll teach your mind to function much like your body."

I felt awful for Rebecca. The poor girl was taken against her will. She's broken down, beaten, and physically and mentally abused. The shy timid girl turns into a Strong Independent fighter. Aiden however, likes the ones who fight. It's more fun that way. Master Aiden is dark and twisted and cruel and yet I couldn't help but like him. Like I said, his main concern in life is money, power and control. That's all he lives for. Rebecca is a very strong girl determined to stay alive at all costs. I was mesmerized by how strong she was able to be. The things she had to do. Aiden doesn't believe in love and he certainly doesn't want love. So what happens when Rebecca does everything in her power to make him feel the one thing he doesn't want?  I won't spoil it for you, but you definitely need to read it.

Lily is an amazing writer, her words captivated me and kept me on the edge of my seat. I give this book 5 Stars, I can't give it any less because I honestly felt like I was watching a movie, it was that well written.

I was given an ARC of this book for my honest review. Just give it a chance and I promise even if you don't like it, the writing itself will absolutely captivate you. Lily White's talent in writing, grabbed me and wouldn't let go. Amazing.

Cover Reveal of DOM WARS by Lucian Bane ;) Get Ready for HOTT Ladies!

Dom Wars Cover Art

Dom Wars Round One

By Lucian Bane

Release Date March 1, 2014

Lucian Bane's inner Dom is out of control and hungry for things he can't name. When he signs up for Dom Wars, he meets Tara who is naive to the BDSM world. Her reckless dominance and puritan heart fascinate him. But when he discovers the pain in her past, it unleashes his true Dom within.

Author Bio

I'm an Ineffable Dom. That just means, do yourself a favor and please don't try to describe me or fit me into your categories. Complicated Dom, Intricate Dom, Confounding Dom work too.

I love very much the soft side of a woman. Not just her body, but everything on the inside-- her passion, her intelligence, her convictions, her delicate tenderness. But the one fetish that might be a part of what makes me an Ineffable Dom is that I love her strengths. I love a woman that isn’t afraid to look me in the eyes and say ‘make me’. But I need it to be real, not staged, not pretended. She has to be a fighter at her core the way I’m a Dom at my core. I want an equal that is willing to come hard against me in every sense of the word, exhaust me. I want her so deep inside me that we’re lost in each other. I want her to never doubt that I will always use my power to adore her, protect her, liberate her. I don’t want a woman I can break, or overpower, or exercise my dominance over, I want a woman I can come undone with. I want a woman I can jump off the cliff with into that abyss of holy hell, this is beyond me, beyond my control. The greatest fear of most people is losing themselves or unravelling their roots. My greatest fear is not finding a woman I can take that plunge with. Yes, it’s a huge risk. That’s the yin and the yang of it. And while the risk titillates my Dom, it’s the ineffable fruit of that risk that moves him. He knows he has to have it. He knows he’s supposed to have. And he’s prepared to dominate for it.

I think there are many men like myself, and I hope my writing will be a map for them. A map for women as well, to let them know Doms like this exist. I’d like to call them out of the woodwork. Help men join with their natural inner Doms in a way that I think is one of the most fulfilling experiences there are. I want to challenge them all to go for the complete power exchange with a woman, but don’t be a coward and not give the same that they demand or expect. And consider that when you give one hundred percent of yourself to a person, there is no more of you to give away. You now belong to them the way they belong to you.

Inner Doms are dogs that need a master to train them. I once bowed to my Dom's reckless and tireless desires, but when I gained control, he bowed to my will. The transformation made me into what I am today. What many would call an Ineffable Dom. But its equal term in the Vanilla world, in my opinion, is a real man.

Unbearable Guilt Breathe Again #2 By: Emma Grayson Release Blast & GIVEAWAY!

Kane Archer hasn’t always been full of rage or torment, he hasn’t always hated life or himself, and he hasn’t always lived in a world riddled with so much guilt that it consumed him. There was a time when his life was complete, when he smiled and laughed, made electrifyingly passionate love, and breathed happiness.
Until the unthinkable took it all away from him.

Now, still reeling from his fiancée’s death two and a half years later, and with the promise he made to find the men who killed her and bring them to justice –regardless of the cost– Kane returns to Camden, the one place he swore he’d never go back to.

Numb, afflicted by guilt, and haunted by the events that led to Aimee’s death, the last thing Kane wanted was to meet someone he felt connected to; who made him feel again.

As Kane gets closer to the ones responsible for Aimee’s death, he’s thrown a curve ball when he discovers a secret so devastating it not only rocks his world, but threatens to destroy any chance at happiness.

Whitney Jareau packed up her life and left everything behind when tragedy struck her family. Finally able to get away from her persistent and domineering family who wanted her to do the one thing she couldn’t, she found her solitude in Camden.

Now, two years later, her family wants her home and will go to any lengths to get her there. With her heart on her sleeve for Kane Archer, a man so gorgeous it hurts to see the pain he carries, Whitney fights her family and refuses to return home to carry out their wishes.

Can Whitney stand strong without succumbing to the demands of her family?

Can Kane let Aimee and the past go in order to move forward with the woman who brought him back to life?

Or will he walk away from her and only ever feel the burden of UNBEARABLE GUILT

My Review
Where do I start with this book? Wow! I guess I have to start with the fact that I give it 7 Stars on a 5 Star Scale! It was amazingly written. I really connected with Whitney and Kane. I loved that the author wrote in both P.O.V's and I was able to see how they were both feeling and what was going through their heads. They both have a pretty tragic past and you could actually feel everything and see everything. I will start by saying that Kane...ummm...Kane! He is one Hot Piece of Man Candy! He is just delicious and I love how Whitney stumbles over herself every time he comes in for coffee at her place of work. I fell in love with Whitney instantly. She is so sweet and nice and at the same time very strong, determined and independent. Kane, with his past is determined not to let anything get in his way. In the very beginning you get a flash back of him losing his fiance. You really feel for him and that was the first time a story has actually brought me to tears in just the first couple of chapters. I was heartbroken for him. It changed him. You get to see a lot of flash backs throughout the book and that really helped me to understand everything that was going on and brought all the pieces together. The only thing he cares about is alcohol, sex and of course getting laid. That is until he finally really talks to Whitney. Once they start chatting you instantly start seeing the sparks fly and I really rooted for them. The sexual tension between them was beyond hot and very palpable. I loved it.
Whitney on the other hand, is already basically mad crushing on Kane. She watches him through the coffee shop window she works at. She notices everything about him. He is definitely swoon worth and to watch her stumble all over herself every time he comes in is actually super cute and funny. I say watch, verses read, because well I was really able to see everything going on. That is how well written this book is. Emma Grayson has an amazing talent. Anyway, Kane finally says more than two words to her and it's on from there. They become kind of friendly like. She has her own past issues to deal with. Her parents death, having her brother, Zane so far away. Not to mention her crazy God-fathers son wanting to marry her. So what happens when Kane and Whitney's path truly cross? Will he be able to let go of all that pent up anger and revenge? Will he be able to move on with his past lover so vividly fresh in his mind still or does he think that moving on would be betraying her? This book had so many twist and turns it had me on the edge of my seat wanting, No...NEEDING more. I couldn't put it down. Once I started reading I couldn't stop myself, I had to know what was going to happen next. Trust me, you're going to want to make sure to read this book. You have to meet Kane Archer!!! He's book boyfriend you will never be able to forget. Plus his team, (co-workers) if you want to call them that, ARE SERIOUSLY SCORCHING HOT TOO!

So all I have to say is Thank You Emma Grayson, you've made my night with this book and touched a place in my heart with a story I won't be able to regret. I'm definitely looking forward to her next book.

Interview with a Master by Jason Luke

It's the interview like no other.
It's the interview of a lifetime.
It's THE Interview with a Master.
When Jonah Noble reveals details of his life within the world of BDSM, the tale he tells is itensely erotic, profoundly sensual, and brutally honest.
This is His world. His way.
There is only one question the man will not answer...
(BDSM erotica from a man's POV, written by a man. Contains some explicit language.)

My Review
This book is amazing! It grabs you from the first few lines. I've read books before that have grabbed me from the first few chapters, but never the first few lines. There is a lot of hype going on right now about this book as well. It's a great read and part of me thinks that half of the hype is because of how good the book is and the other half of me thinks it's because of how mysterious the Author is being. I'm a big BDSM fan. I love to read the erotica stories about it. I've even done the real research as well and Jason Luke really knows his stuff.   Jonah Noble knows so much about women. More than most women know about themselves. He draws you in while he's telling you his story. The title of the book says it all. He's giving an interview to a reporter, Leticia, and he's has her under his spell as well. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. Wondering what he's going to say next. Jonah has so many different sides to him. He has the sweet, tender and caring side. Of course the Master side and even a Bastard side. He tells her a story of past experiences with three different women, Claire, Sherry and Caroline. I loved hearing about them, they were so interesting and more. He was erotic about it and definitely didn't hold his tongue. You can feel the chemistry between him and Leticia and at a few moments the sexual tension is palpable. I liked Leticia's character, I connected with her. I really enjoyed reading the male P.O.V written by a Man. I will say that this book threw me for a loop with the ending. So much so, that I wanted to throw my Kindle. ;) But I didn't. I just had to pray that Mr. Luke (Pen Name) would write another story about Jonah and Leticia. Which I hear that he is going to. Go buy this book, it's fantastic, you won't regret it.
Jason Luke is right up there with Maya Banks and Shayla Black in the BDSM-Erotica-Story world to me now. He is going to be a go to Author for me.  I give this book 5 Stars and say it was great. Like I said, go one click! You won't regret it. You can thank me later and you can also go to Jason Luke's Facebook Page and give him a LIKE! Job well done Mr. Luke.

Oh God. It’s him. There’s no mistaking that rich, masculine treble.

What’s he doing down here?

“M-Mr. Stonehart,” I stutter, turning. I curse my inability to hide my surprise. He totally caught me off-guard. I have to look up to meet his eyes. Then up some more.
The face that I find is so striking it should belong to a Greek god.
He’s younger than I expected. Late thirties, maybe early forties.

That means he started his company when he was younger than me!

Dark scruff lines his angular cheeks. His jet-black hair is styled in long, natural waves. My fingers itch to run through it.

Totally inappropriate.

He has a prominent nose that might be too big on a less imposing man, but on him, it’s perfect.
In short, he’s a package of the purest masculinity I’ve ever seen.
And then there are his eyes. Oh my God. His eyes. They pierce into me like honing missiles. They are the deepest black I have ever seen. They would be frightening if they weren’t so beautiful. When the light reflects a certain way, you catch a glimpse of the purple underneath.
They are like midnight sapphires. His eyes reveal a cunning intellect. Those eyes do not miss a thing.
Add all that to his towering height, his wide shoulders, his confident-yet-at-ease posture… and Stonehart cuts an intimidating figure.

My gaze darts to his left hand before I can stop it. No ring. He’s unmarried.
He looks down at me, expectantly. His eyes narrow ever so slightly, and I feel like I’m being dissected, measured up, and tucked away in some small corner of his brain. I imagine this is what a gemstone feels like under the magnifying class of the most critical appraiser.
Stonehart clears his throat. I come to with a start, realizing I haven’t said anything in ages. I open my mouth, but the capacity for speech seems like a foreign concept to my brain.

Somebody bumps into me from behind. I stagger forward. I’m not used to these shoes, so my heel steps the wrong way. My ankle twists under me, and I start to fall.
I don’t fall far. The hand still on my elbow tightens, and Stonehart pulls me into him.
I plaster myself onto the solid steel wall the man has for a body. I catch a scent of his cologne. It’s a deep, musky smell with a hint of charred spruce that is all male. It scrambles my thoughts even more.

“Sorry!” a rushed voice calls out. From the corner of my eye, I see the postman giving a hurried, apologetic wave.

Although the sequence lasts less than a second, it feels like an eternity. Pressed up against him like that, I don’t want to move. I know that I couldn’t have made a worse first impression.
Stonehart eases me off him with a firm yet gentle grip. Our eyes meet. I flush the most vibrant red. His fingers graze my forehead as he brushes a lock of hair out of my face.
Any tenderness I may have imagined vanishes when Stonehart takes out his cell. He long dials a key and growls an order. “Steven. See the delivery boy leaving right now? Have his building pass revoked.”

I gape. Stonehart keeps speaking. “Wait. I thought of one better. Bar his company from accessing the building.” There’s a pause. “For how long? Indefinitely. FedEx can talk to me when they have an improved employee selection program in place.”
The phone call gives me just enough time to compose myself. My heart’s still beating out of my chest. But nobody has to know that.
I speak without thinking. “You’re going to restrict the entire company from serving this building because of that?”

Stonehart humors me with an answer. “A company’s employees are its most important asset. Their behavior reflects the organization as a whole. If FedEx decided that clown is good enough for them, it tells me they’re sloppy. I do not do business with sloppy organizations.”
“What about the other tenants in the building?” I ask. “Won’t that piss them off?”

When I hear myself and realize how improper my question is, my cheeks flame red again.
Stonehart’s eyes darken, as if he cannot believe I asked that question. I open my mouth to apologize for my imprudence, hating the way my professional skills have evaporated into thin air. I’m cut off by a short, barked laugh.

“Miss Ryder.” He sounds amused. “I believe that is the most direct and honest question anybody has dared ask me in weeks.” He takes my elbow again and leads me to the elevators. I have to take two quick steps to match one of his long strides.

“Yes,” he continues. “They will be ‘pissed off.’ But the perk of owning a building—” he hits the elevator call button, “—is that you get to make executive decisions.” He gives me an unreadable glance as the doors open. “That is, at the risk of being questioned by inexperienced interns.”

If that isn’t a loaded remark, I don’t know what is. I flush scarlet red for the third time since I’ve met him. I’ve never had a man throw me so off balance.

The elevator is packed, for which I’m infinitely thankful. The trip up will give me some time to properly compose myself.

Gratitude turns to panic when the crowd files out, meek as mice, when Stonehart steps in. None of the people waiting in the lobby follow us.
The doors close. I’m alone in here with him. My heart’s beating as fast as a hummingbird’s wings.

He catches me staring. “Impressed?” he asks.
“They know you,” I manage.
His dark eyes flash with amusement. “Astute.”

Until Next Time,
Happy Reading

So Right With You (The Girlfriends Series) by Maggie Kaye

In the work place, we all know there are boundaries. One of those boundaries is Never Date Your Boss, especially if he is a playboy and you just had your heart broken. When Chloe Lambert finds herself down on her luck, none other than her hunky CEO boss, Garrett Nolan, steps in to rescue her, offering her temporary shelter at his ranch. Now, her boss is looking more appealing, and her friends can’t agree on whether she should sleep with him or not. Don’t even mention the fact she just learned he has a soft spot for kids and is using the ranch to help sick kids. What’s a girl to do when it feels so right?

My Review
This book quickly pulled me in from the prologue. I couldn't put it down. I know Mrs. Kaye was probably ready for my review but I simply told her I needed to drag it out a bit longer, that was how good it was. Have you ever read one of those books that just didn't want to end so you try and try and try your best to read slowly and stretch it out? Well that is what I did with this one.
This book starts out with Chloe finding out some devastating news about her fiance which ends with them calling off the wedding. Now what is she suppose to do? She has no place to go. Her boss quickly finds out about what happened and has offered up his home to her. You learn they have known each other for a while and are actually really good friends. What they don't expect to happen is all the Hot Pent-Up Sexual tension between them. She finds herself feeling much better having Garrett around. She quickly makes herself at home and Garrett rather enjoys having her around. He's known for not doing relationships at all. This is such a wonderful romance. You really feel what both characters are feeling. I felt like I was right there with them. And let me tell you there are some very Steamy scenes that kept me very happy. They really tried to fight the sexual tension they had for each other. But once they stopped fighting it, they realized just how right it really felt. I loved being able to watch both Garrett and Chloe really grow together. The emotions and the ups and downs had me reeling, but in a good way. I laughed and I actually cried a bit at some parts but they were tears of joy. The twists and turns in this book and actually love and feeling the characters themselves will leave you wanting so much more.

Maggie Kaye has really made the characters come to life. I loved both P.O.V's and being able to really relate to certain situations in this book made me love it even more. Maggie Kaye did an amazing job with this book and while it has the HEA ending that everyone wants in a romance, I still can't wait for the next book in the series. Good Job Mrs. Kaye on a very wonderfully written novel.

I give this book 5 Stars because it had everything I was looking for. Fantastic writing, steamy and passionate scenes and actually pulled me in.

I was given an ARC of this book in return for my honest review. The opinions expressed here are completely my own.

When Maggie Kaye was in college, she and a friend attempted to write their first romance book. They actually never reached the writing part. Mostly, they lay in the sun, brainstormed, laughed, and snacked, typical behavior for young college students with short attention spans.

Maggie went on to earn a teaching credential in special education and a career in teaching. Although they never completed that first book, the desire to tell stories remained with her. Eventually, she took out a writing pen or in her case a notebook computer her hero (husband) bought her to pursue her dreams and wrote the end.

Today, Maggie lives in the Southern California with her husband, two children, and two cats that sometimes share the keyboard with her. She enjoys writing stories with plenty of heart, humor and a bit of steaminess.

My Review
Well, let me just start by saying that Leigh Ann Lunsford has done it again! (Which I knew she would) First things first: Nicholas Sparks, Move Over, there's a new girl in town! I've said it before with her first book Not Enough, the personality she gives her characters is like no other book I've read. While reading this book I felt like I was a Parker Sibling myself. You get to know them so much more and you really feel what they feel. This book is about Addison and Tyler and let me tell you, O.M.G! She can be just as feisty as Brielle when she wants to be. I have loved Tyler since book 1, Not Enough, when I got a few chances to get to know him. I was so excited to find out that this book was coming out. I really connected with all the characters. I know I say that a lot but until you've picked up this book and started reading, you won't understand. Leigh Ann has a talent when it comes to writing and her characters. The personality they have is amazing. I loved LOVED loved the P.O.V she gives her characters. Being able to know what they are thinking and feeling and going through in life is awesome.

Addison and Tyler have been together for YEARS!!! They are perfect for each other. You can imagine the shock I was in to find out they had broken up and he'd just up and left! I mean really Tyler? The book is set in the very near future and skips dates a bit but I love that about it because I can find out all the information I need and I'm not left hanging, wondering when the hell that happened, like some books do when they attempt that. If you haven't read the books then SPOILER ALERT Ahead!!!

Tyler quickly finds out that Addison has twin baby girls. He got a text from someone (Who will not be named) that the kids are his and he's the biological father. But what about what Addison had told him? Could it really be? Okay,he's got to find this out for himself so he quickly loads up and heads back to his hometown. When he confronts Addison she lets him have it for everything he is worth. I mean backed-in-a-corner-let-him-have-it! Addison is with a new man now, and claiming he's the father of the twins. HIS twins. So what happens when you have Tyler on one hand, who loves Addison so much he'd lasso the moon just to prove it to her? And Addison on the other hand, who loves Tyler with all her being but hates to even look at him? Throw in some Brielle/Colby marital arguments (we love her sassy attitude)! Add a hormonal teenager who doesn't know where he belongs or why he doesn't fit in and a creepy very dangerous person from their past and that my friend is one hell of a story! You thought I was going to give you the juicy details and all the epic scenes? Ha! That's cute. Nope! You need to go #1Click this book right away! But definitely start with Not Enough first! That in itself is an amazing book! And I would feel truly at fault if you missed out on Brielle's sassy-tude and Colby's Hot-ness! You can thank me later! And then after you read them, be sure to go add Leigh Ann Lunsford as a friend on facebook and thank her for this amazing story!

Like I said, I've never read anything so well written. I felt every single emotion possible while reading this book as well as Not Enough. I even read some scenes to my husband, he loved them. I give this book a 10 Star Rating on a 5 Star Scale! This is a MUST READ! If you haven't already stopped reading this review and went to purchase it, Go... Now! Those Parker Siblings will be the death of us all!

I would still not know about my babies if Cambree hadn't texted me last night with a photo of them and a caption that said, "Who's your Daddy?" That girl is a hot ass mess, but I am so grateful for her. I looked at that photo and knew with everything in me that they were mine...mine and Addison's.
I drove as fast as I could to get here. Unfortunately, I happened to arrive in the middle of Riley's first  birthday, and I am sure Brielle was ready to kill me. Nothing has changed.

A Masterpiece of Our Love (The Masterpiece Trilogy Book One) By: Nikki Lynn Barrett Cover Reveal & Giveaway!!!

Two Lives Torn by tragedy

Eight year old Becca and twelve year old Hunter cling to each other and life after surviving a plane crash which stole their families.

Two Souls Seeking Love

Each year from the time she was old enough to travel on her own, Becca met up with Hunter on the island that altered their lives forever.

Until he stopped showing.

Her constant. Her link to the past. Gone in the blink of an eye.

Two Lives Bound by Secret

Suffering more heartbreak, Hunter returns to the one place he’s always sought comfort.
The island where he and Becca met. The place that stole from him, and in the same instance gave to him. He hasn't been back or spoken to Becca in four years.

Though he’s sure she must hate him for disappearing, Hunter discovers the girl gone, now a woman in her place. Hunter is determined to prove to Becca he isn’t the same twelve year old boy of yesteryear.

But someone isn't happy about their reunion...

Strange things begin happening, letters showing up in their hotel rooms and at home with cryptic messages.

Two Broken Hearts Heal as One.

With the mystery unsolved, Hunter convinces Becca to spend the remainder of the summer back home with him. For safety and to give them a chance to rediscover the adults they’ve now become.

Will love get a chance to blossom or will the past come back and tear the masterpiece of their love apart, once and for all?

“I echo that sentiment.” Hunter chuckled. “What a night.” They entered Range's and headed for the elevator. As the doors enclosed them in the small space, he turned to her again. Gently touching her face, Hunter inched closer.  “Bec, I feel like we should talk about that kiss. That's the second time we've kissed and this year, I don't want to walk away without talking about it.”
So that was still bothering him.  And...second kiss? So he did remember what happened four years ago. Well, shoot! She felt the heat rush to her face. She was so not ready to talk about this yet.
“It was just a kiss.” She said softly. “We were caught up in the moment.”  Just a kiss? Oh, that was the wrong way to describe it. Hunter's kiss was on another level of amazing. She didn't know how to put it into words. She could get lost in a kiss like that under an umbrella in the rain. Or standing by the ocean while the sun set as the chilly waves danced around their feet.
Just like that, the room filled with an unseen energy charge between her and Hunter. What was that all about? She melted inside as his lips parted. What stopped her from kissing him again was the elevator. It jerked to a stop, signaling the arrival on her floor. The doors pulled apart.
“I'd better go.” She muttered. Tearing her gaze away from his face. She whirled and bolted, unsure of what to make of that tension she'd just felt. It wasn't the bad kind, not at all.  The I-want-to-do-something-crazy-with-you kind.
Before the doors closed, she heard Hunter's quiet words. “It was more than just a kiss.”
Back in her room, she leaned against the closed door and sank to the floor, touching her lips as if she could feel Hunter's still on them from yesterday.  His voice echoed inside her head with his last comment. Yes, it was more than just a kiss.
For the past twenty years, Hunter had been her friend. Her mentor. On many occasions, her protector and voice of reason. The one who knew her weakness and fears, yet still loved her despite them.
Four years ago, something changed. And this year, it seemed to evolve. She had to push it out of her mind when he fell out of contact. She'd left it alone.

Until now.
Could it be they were both overly sensitive at making it through another storm ravaged accident and they were having mixed feelings?
Or could it be so much more?
